Tennessee Foreclosure Listings
The biggest reason to live here in this state and one of the advantages is music. The state of Tennessee is a big state in the country when you are talking about the music world and the music industry. Memphis gives us some of the best blues to be heard the world over and the home of Graceland, the home owned by the king of rock and troll himself, Elvis Aaron Presley. As you move farther inland to towards the center of the state you run across Nashville, which is the home of country music.
So no matter which end of the musical spectrum your tastes lie, you should be able to find a valid reason to be happy here. And if music is not your cup of tea the Tennessee Titans football team should excite you.
The largest cities in the state in order of size are Memphis, Nashville and Knoxville and you will find that the difference between them and the diversity in those cities is astounding.
The west wide of the state is relatively gently rolling and the eastern side is engulfed by the Smokey Mountains giving us such things as Dollywood theme party, Gatlinburg and other tourist areas that are world-class destinations for people on vacation.
There is not personal Income tax as of this moment in the state so that is a large advantage to living here. The sales tax is a little higher but it doesn’t even come close to the amount of Income tax you save over some of the neighboring states.
It only takes sixty days to complete Tennessee foreclosure listings so there are always a lot of fresh properties here from which to choose if you are in the market to buy one.
All foreclosure sales here are handled by the local sheriff who also sets the value of the property and the auction will not close for less than 50 percent of the fair market value of the property. Another thing here is that the right of redemption that the buyer has on the property is two years from the date of the sale.
